As soon as speaks of the end, people are accustomed to thought it only is refers conforms to the purposefulness externally. According to this view, thing has no its own mission, only been a tool that uses for to realize an end beyond itself; not only it is just mutually a tool between thing and thing, even the thing is also become a method or a tool to its own ends, loses its own sense of purposefulness finally, thus the end and the tool are opposing extrinsically.Under this kind of end view of extrinsic teleology, we are accustomed to think "education end" namely "the end of education ", education is considered only is a method and a way to realizes an end beyond itself. Thereupon, in the practice, education finally loses its own end, and come down in the world being a tool for society or individual to realize its benefit pursue, and then becomes a kind of "instrumental education" which is criticized by all of us.However, the discussion about the problem of education instrumentalization that has already existences in the academic circles, is in the majority to inspecting and criticizing of present situation, and is less in making thorough rational analysis on origin that the problem produces. As for making reflection and criticism from the layer of education end, and understanding the connotation of education end again, be even rarer.This article just setting about from the inspection and the critique of current situation of education instrumentalization and its origin, and establishes in an end view as "intrinsic teleology", and has a discussion again about "education end" from a visual angle of Hegelian's "goal reason" dialectics. The place of innovation of this article lies in viewing education as a subject of self-negation and self-development, then in a visual angle of historicism, has inspected the problem of "education end" from the whole historical process of the creation and existence of education, and bring forward that "education end" means an intrinsic teleology system of "the unification between education having an end and education being an end", and then has an emphatically demonstration on the reality and the way of realization of liberty as which is the end of education. In this foundation, this article finally has had a new discussion about the unification of opposites between egotisticism and collectivism in the problem of education end.
