Collegiate education of national defense which is aim to makestudent to reinforce the awareness of national defense and to acceptknowledge and skill of national defense is a effective way of bringing upFour Possesses new people in university and favorable activity to enhanceour national defense force and construction in support. The contemporaryundergraduate who will shoulder the important task of motherland' boomand modernization construction now live in a peace circumstance, lots ofthem think that military affairs has no relations with themselves and waris far away from this era. Additionally, variety problems in the measure ofeducation of national defense induced the dim conception and indigentknowledge of national defense. All of these indicate that innovation foreducation of national defense is imperative under the situation. Theauthor who is one of the teaching staff on front line, have done someimpersonal diagnoses and in-depth research and do us best to bring forththe current actuality of education of national defense in university,moreover, put forward constructive and ameliorative suggestion that canbe carry out in university.This text has expatiated the profound meaning of national defenseand the sense of education of national defense in this era and its effect onthe safety,education of college and army construction. So it hasdefinitued its own important role in national education system and has expatiated the important sense of reinforcement of national defenseeducation for the national safety and cultivation of people.For the sake of examining the awareness of national defense ofundergraduate and effect of collegiate education of national defense andof finding out undergraduate's mind and suggestion on education ofnational defense, we investigated the factors in the form ofquestionnaire on internet. We take the undergraduates in 16 universitieswhich is in different province as the object of investigation. We callbackthe 883 effective questionnaires which was then standardized andanalyzed. According to the results we bring forward audaciously thatsystemization, popularization, stereo and regularity which we call "fourstandardization" is likely to the development way for education ofnational defense in university. At the same time, we put forward theidiographic measure and ameliorative opinion which base the directionof epoch progress and the characteristic of contemporary undergraduate'sknowledge and psychology. We also look forward to the future ofeducation of national defense so that reflect the current actuality ofeducation of national defense in university practically and offer someimpersonal and particular evidence for educational administration andnational defense teaching staff to carry out didactical innovation.
