How to realize the subject aims of the Chemistry in high school according to General High School Chemistry Standard(Experiment):promoting the change of the students' studying approach on the grand of the student development; to multiply the teaching objective with innovation of teaching ideology, reconstruction of teaching methods and class teaching; to reflect the relationship between science, technology and sociology; to advocate the active, reconstructive and creative studying method resulting in building the solid base for the student's all-life study.For these problems, the thesis will discuses and analyze the objectives and features of the self-teaching study of chemistry on the basis of the theory of self-teaching. As to the deficiency of traditional high school chemistry class teaching, the ideology will be put forward about how to promote the student's teaching-self and class teaching strategies. Designing the teaching procedure on chemistry teaching—self is to guide the students to self-construct the knowledge on chemistry and do practical research.Research on the promotion of the student's self-teaching strategies not only include"what to do", but the more important is "how to do". Through the theoretical study, and the practice in teaching, we can draw the following conclusions: self-teaching is one of the most important study methods which is advocated by the new teaching standards. And at the same time, it is also a teaching method which makes the teaching activity more excellent. The realization the self-teaching and the guidance to make students study actively and participate in the teaching activities can make the students be the main parts of study. Realizing the strategy of promoting the students' self-teaching is helpful to combine with high school students' recognition features and emphasize the students' experience and it is helpful to reconstruct the students' chemistry knowledge and improve the students' main part sense to take the responsibility and cultivate the students' various ability to study chemistry and eventually improve their achievement in chemistry.
