With the development of science and technology and the modern education theory, a new education mode - Networked Education has made great achievements worldwide. In recent years, China's Networked Education has also had remarkable development too. Obviously, the emergence of Networked Education has satisfied people's demand for the specialized knowledge and skills in an advance level, met the request for creating a intellectual society, embodied the importance of the lifelong education. At the same time, the study about Networked Education at home and abroad is growing increasingly mature. After researching, the author found that many existing researches have all discussed the cost of Networked Education and benefit when the technical transmission is used in different environments. These researches are mainly about the comparative advantages of Networked Education compared with the traditional face-to-face education. Moreover, among recent studies abroad, there are also many achievements which analyze various factors which may affect the cost of Networked Education and benefit. Most of domestic researches are also about the cost and benefit of Networked Education. However, the cost-benefit analyses on students of Networked Education are relatively few.According to the human capital investment theory, the human capitals are formed through investment. So all economic activities contributing to the improvement of worker's quality and enhancement of worker's knowledge, skill and health level as well as the costs for improving the utilization of human resource are all regarded as human capital investment. Educational investment, as one main form of human capital investment, has become a domain that attracts many experts and scholars to study. At the same time, the human capital investment theory also tells us that the human capital investment should also conform to the cost-benefit efficiency just as the physical resource capital. Networked Education as a new mode of education should also be consistent with this rule, then it can attract more people who are eager to acquire more knowledge and skills to join in the Networked Education, namely, Networked Education is the investment in human capital. According to China's national condition and the actual demand of public education, the main bodies of China's Networked Education are adult who are engaged in work, who work during their working hours and take systematic, normal networked study during their after-working hours. They also take exams, do oral defense, obtain their diploma, and learn the forefront of thoughts, professional knowledge as well as advanced skills during the systematic studying process, which are all good for improving their human capital level.Based on the first-hand data and material collected during the author's internship as well as the human resource theory, the author plans to conduct through research and analysis on the cost and income of the Networked Education students, which aims at drawing favorable evidence for the hypothesis that compared with formal higher education, Networked Education conforms to the cost-benefit efficiency much better as well as meeting their demand for specialized knowledge and skills. Finally, the author also analyzed the effectiveness of the Networked Education and China's current conditions, and attempted to propose some rational proposal to promote the development of China's Networked Education.
