The inner drive of mathematics learning refers to the internal motivation of promoting the individual mathematic study directly. The inner drive of mathematics learning is a combination of many psychological components, of which mathematics learning consciousness and interest in mathematics awareness are much more important. Mathematics learning consciousness refers to the students'awareness of their purpose or the social significance of learning mathematics, and showing a positive learning attitude and learning behavior. Mathematics learning consciousness is developing gradually, and it is related closely to the development of students'understanding, the education of learning purpose conducted by families and schools, and the success or failure of personal mathematics learning. The inner drive of mathematics learning not only plays a driven and maintenance functions on the mathematics learning behaviors, but also is directly related to mathematics learning results. In view of the importance of the inner drive of mathematics learing in mathematics learning activities, it is very necessary for us to do some researches on the current status of students'inner drive of mathematics learning.This study takes mathematics as its carrier, and it applies the Inner Drive theory which has the universal guiding significance and Learning Motivation theory to mathematics, grasping the characteristics and influence factors of secondary students'inner drive of mathematics learning, exploring the ways of training secondary students'inner drive of mathematics learning.This thesis firstly introduces the background of this study, the main content, research methods and significance. Then the writer defines the concept of the Inner Drive Mathematics Learning, and analyzes the components of the Inner Drive of mathematics learning. On the basis of relevant theories, some sampling survey papers are designed on the inner drive of secondary students'mathematics learning. Through the statistical analysis on the 368 valid questionnaires and the depth interviews on the representive students, summerizes the characteristics of the inner drive of secondary students'mathematics learning. Based on these, further researches are carrried on and then the writer suggests the ways of training on the inner drive of secondary students'mathematics learning, and gives some related teaching suggestions on the analysis of the differences among grades and genders. At last, the thesis summarizes the value of the work done and shortcomings, and imagines the prospects of the research.
