On China's Strategy Of Rejuvenating

Since modern times, with the rising, developing and deepening of the technical revolution, the science and technology has greatly influenced the economy, politics, the culture, the people's lives and the comprehensive national strength and this kind of influence is widening and deepening. In order to achieve the grand three-steps construction of our country's socialism modernization, On the basis of Comrade Deng Xiaoping's theory that science and technology are the first productive forces and our party's basic guidelines, the central government and the State Council scientificly analyzed and summarized the developing trend and experience of modern economy, society and the science and technology in modern times especially in the present age, and proposed the developing strategy of"rejuvenating the nation with science and education"in accordance with our country's condition in 1990s. Since we implemented the strategy, our country's economy and society developed rapidly; the comprehensive national strength enhanced greatly; the disparity between our country and the developed countries was reduced, which proved the accuracy and efficiency of the strategy. The article attempts to systematically research the formation and evolution of the strategy of science and education rejuvenating as well as its status and function in the Chinese characteristic socialism since we implemented the reform and open policy.Part one,The background of the strategy of rejuvenating the nation with science and education. In order to meet the challenge of the knowledge economy , the countries all over the world made corresponding strategies. As the big developing socialism country, China must grasp the opportunity and meet the challenge to pay more attention to the science and education on which knowledge economy relies to develop the science and education from the view of state security and national prosperity. Under such circumstances, the strategy is our consistent choice.Part two,The forming and developing of the strategy of rejuvenating the nation with science and education. The implementing of the strategy of rejuvenating the nation with science and education achieved much in strengthening the functions of scientific economy , hi-tch and industrialization , basic researches, the reforms of science and education, compulsory education, higher education and vocational education . Meanwhile problems exists in low science and education competitive power, low contribution to the economy of science and technology, insufficiency in investment for science and education, and the deficiency in suburb education.Part four,Realizing scientific developing view, promoting the strategy of rejuvenating the nation with science and education , and completely construct the well-off society. In order to realize well-off society and build modernization in 21 century we must realize the scientific developing view completely, promote the strategy of rejuvenating the nation with science and education greatly and make strengthening the independent innovative power as the national strategy to make a way of independent innovation with Chinese characteristics in practice.
