The Program for Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Draft) was being published by our country in the beginning of this century, which emphasizes the points that is to train the students'abilities of collecting and handing information, analyzing and solving problems, exchanging and cooperating; that is to enhance the general application of the information technology to teaching energetically, promoting the integrating of the information technology into subjects. But how should we using information technology to develop the cooperative learning which is important for the students'lifelong learning through integrating and using of resources, that has became the issue every teacher must face.This paper dicusses on study of the theory and practice of the in information technology environment. First, we make a study of the history and current situation of cooperative learning, then, we do some study on theory of cooperative learning too , so as to make the practical research has a solider foundation. In the paper, the task characteristics, suiting cooperative learning, have been put forward which is fit for the new curriculum reform in our country. It also has analysed the task content of g developed in chemistry curriculum.Thus, it is better for developing cooperative learning by recuring to information technology, especially in the environment of a computer network, typically internet, which is the biggest and open and possesses of rich and colorful learning resources.To make the practice research more targeted, we complete a survey about students' learning ethod, cooperative consciousness and skills, and information accomplishment. We realize that students have certain cooperative consciousness, and they show high enthusiasm to cooperative learning, while lacking the training of cooperative skills. Students are still receiving the traditionally "teacher-centered" education. During the research, we also realize that the level of students' information accomplishment is very low.In the process of practice research, I designed the teaching process which based on the selection course content, and carries on the teaching experiment. After the experiment ended, I through questionnaire survey and conversation of students discovery that cooperative learning In information technology environment can influence the Information accomplishment enhancement of students and can urge the student to form the cooperative consciousness and the cooperative skill; It also can bring the positive influence to student's study interest and attitude.In the end, self-examining our teaching we think that to transforms student's study way in the cooperative learning, the teacher must transform own teaching way; in the other hand, to let the information technology can serve for the teaching we must constantly enhance the information accomplishment of teachers and students.
