It is difficult for College student to obtaining employment. The problem of female college students obtaining employment is more serious. Through interview and questionnaire to students who are applying for jobs of six colleges and universities of Shanghai-Jiangsu-Zhejiang area, we find that sexual employment discrimination ubiquitous. The female student obtaining employments are bearing much mentality pressure.Study on this thesis is good for female college student to adjust themselves to know the situation correctly, and put themselves to the proper position, avoiding misunderstanding and finding correct way of developing. Also it can provide help to garment to establish policy and law. Carrying out analysis on the origin of discriminating against economics, we discover main cause are as follows:(1) Getting married, bearing child giving addition cost;(2) Housework result in anticipating of female's lower productivity;(3) The anticipating avails carrying out from investing on the female is not high;(4) The request is harsh on working conditions;(5) Welfare cost of female employee is higher;(6) Effect of occupation "isolation". We can perceive enterprise who employs female would pay much dominance cost and recessive cost. These costs relevant to natural attribute of female is called a female's"Naturally-attached costs" in economics.The theory of western labor market discrimination is summed up the reason as three points: individual prejudice, enterprise's monopoly and statistics discrimination. The analysis from model shows that, enterprise's decision process it is a profit maximize process in enterprise monopoly model. Analyzing the welfare of the discriminate employer, we can find that sometimes, employer is benefit under the situation that the discrimination cost is smaller than"Naturally-attached costs" and "information cost ". Individual prejudice model and statistics discrimination model can be considered as the best choice of profit maximizes employer. This is a good explanation why discrimination firm exists in a long time on the market. We can deduce that the effect of removing discrimination through coercion is not certainly obvious and will hit the employer. How to relieve the female college student discrimination in employment? Phelps model gives us some answer: maximizing difference of individual information.Then we can get some solutions: Firstly, change the concept of discrimination legislation, and perfect the executive mechanism. Secondly, reducing the labor cost of female college student, this needs government to function correctly to promote employer employing female college student. Thirdly, make information communication system perfect to reduce information cost of two parties. Fourthly, female college student should try their best to improve themselves to fit society.
