The phenomenon of the short of high quality and high-tech human resources is now being more and more serious. All these show that our technology education is falling behind other countries, particularly in the first line of the production and services that urgent demand millions of technology talented persons. Our country has a large population, how to transform the large population pressure to be the human resources superiority is the challenge we have to face. Therefore, technology education that could provide technical persons for the industrial development is great expected.Technology education is a practical activity that initiates technology knowledge, trains skills and understands technology society. This kind of activities takes in different organizational forms of educational activities as the carrier, and reflects to different levels of practice activities. Technology education is throughout the national education system. Whether there are ordinary schools in the labor technical education, vocational education in technology education and training, higher education in engineering education, or continuing education's in-the-job training, technology education contents are included. Technology education has a crucial role in promoting industrialization process of China. Firstly, it guides and enhances the development of every individual. Secondly, technology education is also conducive to the actualization of China's three major strategies. Thirdly, technology education also solves the problem of technology diathesis of the labor. Fourthly, technology education improves our country's international competitiveness.Overall, our country's technology education still have got good achievement and development, even in the adverse circumstances of the recognition to liberal education and the neglect to technology education in the government and society. But there are still many problems in the technology education. Such as, technology education discrimination, the urgent need to strengthen the construction of teachers, leaks in the management of the technology education institutions, the shortage of students source, poor foundation of students, failing to keep pace with new requirements of teaching software and hardware facilities, and the inconspicuous professional characteristics target and the pertinence is not strong, etc.Because of the lack of technical education that leads to the lack of skilled personnel has become the pressing need of China's industrialization. So, developing technology education vigorously to speed up the process of industrialization in China is a powerful tool. Grim situation demands that we must face the problems of the technical education. The industrialized countries has already developed the technology education very mature and improved, because of the long development process of their technology education. Combining the Chinese technology education's status and problems, the author reviews the technology education of the industrialized countries detailedly.Finally, the author brings forward the promoting to the industrialization process ideas after the combination of status quo and problems of technology education and the inspection of the major industrialized countries' technology education. The main views are: changing thinking and paying attention to technology education; deepening reform of the technology education system, in order to enhance the vitality of school; broadening the channels of financing to technical education; strengthening the teachers procession building; paying attention to the important role of skilled workers in technology innovation; strengthening in the cultivation of entrepreneurship education; developing the underdeveloped areas of technology education vigorously.
