With students' learning capacity decreasing in vocational schools in recent years, it is very hard for these schools to conduct expected teaching activities, and the teaching quality is not very satisfying. Therefore, the question of how to increase students' learning effectiveness has become a focus for vocational schools and teachers.There are three ways to increase students' learning effectiveness in teaching. The first one is to increase students' learning time; the second one is to lower the task difficulty and make it closer to students' current level; the third one is to help students improve learning efficiency. The general learning target of vocational school students includes completing courses in the school, obtaining certificates for future jobs, and cultivating the sustainable learning capacity for future careers. Although the target is chosen by students, the content and difficulty involved in the target are determined by specific jobs and social needs. Neither students nor schools can change the content and difficulty as they will. It is nearly impossible to lower the learning target and reduce difficulty to make students reach the learning results. Meanwhile, the way of increasing learning time to obtain expected learning results is not practical. Therefore, the only choice is to increase students' learning effectiveness, helping them find their own learning character and the learning rules of grasping skills for future jobs, thus learning more in limited time.The cooperative learning mode have been put into use in vocational school teaching and learning, which brought a new method to improve learning results. Compared with traditional learning, cooperative learning widely applied in many countyies of the word is a syetem of teaching theory and strategy full of innovation and effect. It is a process for students to construct knowledge, discover knowledge. Transfer knowledge and develop knowledge in the context created by the teacher, which is of great significance to the improvement of teacher-student relationship and realization Of mutual development of teacher and student.Compared with competitive learning or individual learning, cooperative learning can bright more logical thinking, more new ideas, and broader transference. Research findings in China and other countries showed that students could obtain better learning results in well-organized group cooperative learning than in traditional teaching mode.This study attempts to explore the effective methods of improving learning efficiency in mathematics classes of vocational schools. With the target of cultivating qualified professionals for the society, this study seeks to find effective ways to solve problems in teaching. The findings will be helpful for teachers working in vocational schools.
