Cooperative learning is counted the most wide—ranging promotion of the educational reform in modern times. In China, cooperative learning has being proposed by the new curriculum as one of the new learning pattern. How dose the cooperative learning realize its efficient operation in the class? Anyway, this is a formidable problem for us, teaching efficiency researchers, to tackle. This dissertation includes four parts.Chapter One is an introduction, which puts forward the problem of my study, illustrates the purpose and value of my study, shows the process and methods of my study, including the selection of sample, the methods in the process of collecting data, and the effectiveness of my study.Chapter Two is literature review. Firstly, according to the theme, the literatures are introduced on the relevant domestic and international researches they are connected to the topic of teaching effectiveness. After that, the author has tried best to find out the problems exist in the former researches, which later become the breach of my study.Chapter Three are the case and concepts relating to my study. Firstly, outlining the overview of cooperative teaching at home and abroad, and based on this, showing my case—"subject cooperative learning research in Sichuan in China". And then, it clarifies the concept of teaching in its historical and logical perspective. And later expounds the concept of cooperative teaching and the concept of teaching efficiency.Chapter Four is the analysis of teaching facts and teaching efficiency. In this part, by giving vivid description of teaching facts, it reveals out the local characteristics of the"subject cooperative learning research", makes analysis of teaching efficiency of the cooperative class, and considers the factors which influence on the teaching efficiency. The following are the research finds of my thesis. The cooperative teaching on the basis of"subject cooperative learning"has its own characteristics in the respects of its logic structure, choice of the right moment, the structure of the goal and the encourage, and the positive interdependence. These belong to the teaching efficiency theoretically. Next, the time, the content and the goals of cooperative teaching are made analysis of teaching efficiency in operation. At last, the key elements which have an effect on the teaching efficiency are the teachers'teaching capability and the teaching belief.
