| Cooperative learning plays an important role in the process of teaching. Especially in thedeepening of the new curriculum reform, cooperative learning has its special significance.This paper analyzed the primary school English teaching from various aspects in theprocess of implementation of cooperative learning of the status quo. First, I analysed theimportant factors which influence cooperative learning from the perspective of the theory. Sothat we might research cooperation study from different angles; Through the questionnaireand classroom observation and other measures, we access to relevant data and class phenomenon;On the basis of the phenomenon and the related data, we can analyze the existing relatedproblems of cooperative learning in primary school English teaching implementation; At last,this paper provided proposed solutions according to the related issues, in order to promotecooperation study on the teaching of English in primary schools.The paper includes five parts.The first part is literature review. It discusses mainly the domestic and foreign cooperativelearning history and present situation of cooperative learning in primary and middle schoolEnglish teaching in significance and value.The second part of this paper is about the related theory, It mainly discusses the definitionof cooperative learning, constituent elements of cooperative learning, the important influence ofcooperative learning, the teaching steps of cooperative learning, etc.;The third part is the research idea and research method that are described.The fourth part is the major part of this paper. It obtained data that is based onquestionnaire, interview and classroom observation. It analyzed pupils′participation, the role ofthe teachers, the extracurricular implementation of group learning and so on.The investigation and analysis show that cooperative learning has been accepted by most ofour teachers. Cooperative learning can arouse students’ enthusiasm, increase students’participation, but there are also a number of problems.The fifth part is reflection. On the basis of preamble of the theory explanation and empiricalresearch, this part summarizes the issues and direction in the cooperative learning. |
