System Of The Chinese University Of Administrative Power And Academic Power Relations

With the social and economic development, all of us are getting higher requirements of the University. The power structure of University is the core of the University Management, and to study this structure is an inherent requirement for us to reform the University management institution. Based on such an understanding, the paper tried to analyze the "duality" features of power structure within University by studying the issues like the changes and internal power structure of University institutions. The institution theory was used in this paper to explain the relationship between the academic authority and executive power within university. The researcher reviewed the institution changes of China's university from the historical view at first, and then discussed some issues between the academic authority and executive power within university, and explored the basic ideas to solve this problem at the end of this paper.This paper is divided into four sections, a total of five chapters:The first part includes the introduction and the theoretical basis for the research. A literature review was made and a brief introduction of institution theory was given in this part.In the second part, the researcher expound the production and historical changes of modern university institution in China, which was divided into the early diversification of exploration, the changes of University organization, and the reform and innovation of university institution after the 1980s.In the third part, the researcher focused on the causes and effects of the imbalance between academic authority and executive power within university. Because of the impact of the state's macroeconomic policies and the environmental of University, as well as the misunderstanding of education and power, the executive power of University was generalized, and the academic authority was deified.In the fifth party, the paper described the objects of the power structures reform within university, namely the establishment of a modern university institution, law-based university management, Professor-centered university instruction, and democratic and scientific. On this basis, the researcher pointed out the basic idea to improve the relationship between the academic and executive power.
