Teacher-student interaction is an important factor affecting student's academic and professional development of teachers. In the current curriculum reform in high school geography classroom, teacher-student interaction has changed and improved a lot, but there are still many problems and shortcomings. In most high school geography classroom, teachers ask lots of questions for students to answer. There are more cognitive interaction between teachers and students, less affective interaction and behavior interactions, and lack the collision of the "soul". The existences of these problems have affected the effectiveness of teaching.In this study, on the basis of research results of the interaction between teachers and students from at home and abroad, using literature, observation, interviews. The author mainly study the geography class of Fengli middle school in Rudong, Jiangsu Province .The relationship and emotional factors between teachers and students are the major factors affecting the teacher-student interaction, the inequality of teacher-student interaction, lack of deep and emotional interaction, teacher's action without student's action are major problems existing in the interaction of teachers and students in the temporary high school geography class. The main factor which influence the teacher and student exchange effectively are the teacher's special quality, humanist quality, teacher-student relationship and their emotion, and so on.New curriculum calls for active and effective teacher-student interaction in order to achieve the classroom dynamic generation, stimulating classroom vitality. Modern education thinks that the "people-oriented" focus on training students for the abilities, interests and the intellectual development of students, stressing the promotion and interaction between teachers and students. Teachers play key role in constructing effective teacher-student interaction. The author try to research effective interaction strategies, in the high school geography classroom as an observers and practice. Such as: design the teaching process meticulously, crate a domocratic learning atmosphere; apply various teaching and learning method and promote teachers' professional quality and humanist quality, and so on.
