Building physics models and applying mathematical methods to them are two important issues in the study of high school physics teaching. Based on the concepts of the new curriculum standards in high school physics, researches on building physics models and integrating them with mathematical methods are conducted in this thesis.Through a theoretical study and from the perspective of educational psychology, Piaget's cognitive development theory, the importance of building physics model in student's physics problem construction and re-awarness in inquiry learning is studied, and the feasibility of integrating physical models with mathematical methods is explored.The principles, methods and ways of building physics models and integrating them with mathematical methods are given concerning the teaching process design and practice, and quite a few practical examples are given with detailed discussions.It is found by this research that by these methods, the boring physics classroom atmosphere in high school can be changed, students' interests and passions to learn physics are inspired, the quality of students' way of thinking are transformed. As a consequence, students can learn how to use the procedures, the ways of thinking to solve the physical problems. These results have increased students awareness' and understanding of the physics problem, and have laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of students.
