With the development of the times and the deepening of basic education curriculum reform,the development of student core literacy has become a hot topic in the field of education research.Physical model thinking belongs to the category of scientific thinking,is the core element and internal driving force of physical modeling ability,and an important part of the core literacy of physics.Implementing the cultivation of model thinking in high school physics teaching is of great significance to the life-long development of students.This article first defines the core concepts of physics model thinking,constructs a structural model of model thinking ability,sorts out the relationship between model thinking and related concepts on the basis of studying the junior and senior high school physics curriculum standards,college entrance examination evaluation system and related documents.Physical thinking theory,situational cognition and learning theory are used as the theoretical basis.Secondly,using the questionnaire survey method and the text analysis method respectively,the investigation was carried out from the two perspectives of physical model knowledge and model thinking quality to diagnose the development status and problems of ordinary high school students' physical model thinking.In terms of model knowledge,high school students' understanding of the nature of the model is not deep and comprehensive,especially in the "model as an exact replica"(ER)dimension,and there are significant gender differences in the ER and CNM dimensions.In terms of thinking quality,the overall model thinking level of senior third-year students is in a qualified state,showing a normal distribution,but the polarization is serious;model thinking obstacles mainly include solidification,one-sidedness,and interference;in the depth,flexibility,and Critically,there are big problems,and the specific problems behave differently.Next,analyze the relevant content of the junior and senior high school physics curriculum standards,and clarify the training requirements of different stages of model thinking.Based on the above research results,the training strategy of model thinking is given from the perspectives of course types and teaching methods.In terms of course types,five strategies are proposed,such as "strengthen the teaching of conceptual modeling in concept classes,highlight the essential meaning of physical concepts",and "explicit multiple representations of models in regularity classes,and build a clear theoretical framework".In terms of teaching methods,six strategies are proposed,such as "using contextualized,de-contextualized,and re-contextualized teaching methods to manifest the model thinking process","set clear tasks to drive the teaching process,and gradually increase students' thinking capacity and activity".Finally,select representative teaching content and use the above strategies to design 4 teaching cases,"Application of Newton's Law of Motion","Curve Motion","Central Acceleration",and "Atom Nuclear Structure Model",among which "Curve Motion" " The two cases of Centripetal Acceleration have been tested for teaching practice and effect,in order to provide some references for improving the quality of high school physics teaching and optimizing the quality of students' model thinking.
