Teacher talk in class plays a significant role in foreign language learning. English Curriculum has advanced two changes and two promotions, that is, to change the teaching method of teachers and the learning method of students, to promote the development of teachers and the development of students, which justifies analyzing the excellent teacher talk in class. Based on the views on input and output in language learning, the author of the thesis analyzes the excellent teacher talk by observing, recording, taking notes and changing word file. By describing the characteristics present in introduction, instruction, interaction, and feedback, the author has come to the conclusion: excellent teacher talk can guide, support, accelerate and stimulate the English learning in class. Following the conclusion the author puts forward some suggestions to improve the teacher talk. |
