Gymnastics Teaching The Content Of The Reform And Development Policy Research,

Nowadays in China New Curriculum Reform of High School about Physical Education is being carried on and being developed steadily from the year 2001. However, the traditional gymnastics teaching system based on athletics gymnastics is far away from the conceptions and requirements of Physical Education Curriculum. Therefore, in the teaching and learning of high school gymnastics, it's very important and necessary to construct a new model of teaching system about gymnastics which should be consistent with the conceptions and requirements of New Physical Education Curriculum, displaying the educational conceptions of "health coming first", "concerning all students" and "carrying out diathesis teaching and learning". Also, it's important and necessary to realize the educational value of gymnastics thoroughly and scientifically. So it's more important to develop the teaching contents of gymnastics reasonably and scientifically.This essay makes a questionnaire survey about the current high school gymnastics teaching and its teaching contents based on the teaching and learning theories of Physical Education Curriculum, under the guidance of the conceptions of New Curriculum Reform, with the goal of reforming and guiding teaching practice of high school gymnastics teaching and focusing on the teachers and students from four provincial or civic key high schools of Nantong City, and finds out the following results: 1. The students' interest can't be aroused. 2. It's difficult to positively affect the students' development mentally and physically. 3. It's more difficult to serve the students' future study, work and living. Based on the above, this essay puts forward some new designing conceptions of high school gymnastics teaching contents and puts forward some suggestions about high school gymnastics teaching contents developing strategies through the analysis of the traditional gymnastics teaching contents, the demonstration of necessary reform to the traditional gymnastics teaching contents and the research into the choice of the traditional gymnastics teaching contents under the guidance of new conceptions of New Physical Education Curriculum.
