Nanjing High School Sports Elective Courses Problems In Research And Development Of Countermeasures

Based on the basic theory of pedagogy and sport science, this research using looking up literature materials, survey, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, and other research methods research and analyz ed options guidance teaching content and forms of organization, teaching methods, teaching evaluation of the current high school in Nanjing which have set physical education elective curriculum. At last this research also finds some problems and put forward corresponding countermeasures as followed to solve these problems.The main questions of high school in Nanjing which have set physical education elective curriculum currently are:1. The lack of playground, gymnasium and equipment will restrict the further development of selective curriculum.2. There are many problems in the organization and management of options: some students making options with blindness lost the true meaning of the options in some sense; most of the students could have the right of option only once; some students options will not satisfied, lost the interest in sport learning.3. Physical education teachers' teaching capacity constrains the latitude and depth of option teaching.4. The teaching materials of physical education selective curriculum are inadequate; teaching content arrangements unreasonable; teachers teaching stay in a single technical level.5. Due to the traditional physical education teaching guiding ideology and the impact of organizational forms, teaching methods have difficulty in overcoming the trilogy of "explain", "demonstration" and "counselling".6. The evaluation of physical education elective curriculum does not meet the requirements of curriculum development goals.According to the problems that exist in Nanjing high school, put forward countermeasures:1. While make full use of the existing playground, gymnasium, sports equipment and other resources, speeding up the construction of sports playground, gymnasium and facilities, particularly, some new and developing sports facilities construction.2. Strengthen physical education elective curriculums' publicity work, adopting a scientific and rational method options and guide students in the correct option.3. Strengthen inter-school physical education teacher exchanges, rely on the exchange of teachers, developing school elective curriculum projects constantly.4. Implementation of different levels of teaching for all the students at different level.5. Teachers should attach great importance to the reform of teaching methods.6. Making a scientific and rational construction of elective module teaching content.7. Established on the basis of modules based on the development of the evaluation system8. Enrich teaching content of physical education elective curriculum with a scientific and develop vision.
