In this study,from the perspective of physical education courses to promote the improvement of students’ physical fitness,the physical education courses are divided into three major groups: three balls,three small balls,and dance classes for analysis.Differences in students’ physical qualities have an impact.In this study,540 undergraduates from the three major group courses of Huazhong University of Science and Technology were randomly selected for teaching research by analyzing and discussing different classes of physical education courses,using literature data methods,testing methods,mathematical statistics methods,comparative analysis methods and other research methods.Differences that have an impact on the physical quality of college students,and then achieve the purpose of optimizing the curriculum structure,guiding students to exercise scientifically,and comprehensively improving the physical fitness of college students.The research results are as follows:1.The physical education classes of different event groups all improve the physical fitness of students;2.The overall physical fitness of students who select different item groups is different,and the order of increase in the overall score is: male ball,big ball,and dance(4.80,2.80,2.40 points);girl ball,small ball,Dance(3.30,3.00,2.60 points).The overall evaluation results of girls are better than boys.3.The big ball has a significant effect on improving the explosive strength,flexibility,and endurance of the lower limbs of boys and girls.It has a general effect on improving the strength of the waist and abdomen of girls,but has no obvious effect on improving the strength of the upper limbs of boys.4.Small balls have obvious effects on improving the speed quality,lower extremity explosive strength,endurance quality of girls and boys,and the waist and abdomen strength of girls,and have a certain effect on improving the strength and flexibility of boys’ upper limbs.5.The dance class has an obvious effect on improving the speed quality,lower-extremity explosiveness,flexibility and upper-limb strength of boys,and it has a general effect on improving the endurance quality of girls and lower-extremity explosiveness.6.Large ball sports elective courses are more effective than small balls and gymnastics in improving girls ’speed quality,lower extremity explosiveness,and flexibility and endurance qualities of boys and girls.Small ball courses are superior in improving boys’ upper limb strength In the big ball class,the dance and dance projecthas the most significant effect on improving the speed quality of boys and the strength quality of boys and girls.7.Boys with lower overall physical fitness levels are more likely to choose courses with strong skills such as small balls,while girls are more inclined to choose large ball courses with strong confrontation or aerobics courses that show difficult beauty;Boys with a higher level of physical fitness are more likely to choose courses that are more antagonistic,such as large balls,while girls are more likely to choose small courses.
