China's Colleges And Universities Artistic Disciplines Enrollment System Study

Higher education admission system is an important part of higher educational system. Also, reform of higher education admission system is a important breaking point in reforming of higher educational system with its effect on quality and benefits of the college directly. The Enrollment System in arts major has always been a special zone and also an important component of higher education admission system. Reform of this system relates to multiple aspects of society, and the result directly affects the benefits of people and development of our society. Therefore, deeply research on reform of admission system in major of art carries a very crucial meaning.This work starts from research on practice. Understanding reality in development of higher education in major of art and main problems remained in it, 4 points of which have been analyzed and studied including System of Project, System of Examination, System of matriculation and System of Management. Accordance assumptions of reform have been raised.Four parts are included in this research: The first part made an introduction of this work including its origin, meaning, purpose and relating concepts; second part traced back the history of higher education admission system in major of art before and after the establishment of P. R. China. Main reasons leading to contemporary enrolment status and their negative effects have been briefly analyzed; the third part is about research on rationality and existing problems of contemporary higher education admission system in major of art of our country in order to achieve a clear and fair understanding of necessity and importance of the reform; the fourth part focused on characters of higher education admission system in major of art in Japan as a typical foreign admission system. The principles of reform of higher education admission system in China and conceiving of the form in details have been provided afterwards.The reform of higher education admission system in major of art is a very important project which relates to education of arts in China and even the whole system of education, and even political stability of the society, development of economics, and abundance of culture. It's a systematic work which relates to various aspects. The system needs to be carefully reformed on base of full research and long term layout, and according to different aspects like the situation of our country, endurance of public mind...etc. It is the only way that higher education admission system in major of art could adapt to requirement from economical construction and development of society, and hold a energetic life.
