In some countries, Concept Map has been extensively used as a meaningful strategy for learning. In China, as the New Course Standards are generalized and implemented, the application of Concept Map has also been furthered. However, how can high school teachers efficiently combine the application of concept map with actual teaching modes? This is the question that draws the most attention from high school teachers.Based on the Theory of Knowledge Visualization, this passage discusses the conception of concept map, and makes a conclusion that concept map is a kind of thinking tool in the form of visualization, which can provide a visual structure, promote the function of recognition, and advance the presented performance of cognitive thinking; Then through the discussion of the theoretical foundation of Concept Map in educational psychology field, this passage reveals the possibility and the meaning of applying concept map to high school teaching. Then, this paper put forward some principles for the application of concept map into high school teaching; taking these principles as premises, this paper further discusses the application of concept map in several commonly used teaching modes of high school physics and finds some new strategies and methods for the application, finally, through several case studies of application of Concept Map in actual teaching, the advance and effectiveness of concept map teaching have been testified.The research methods used are a combination of both quantitative and behavioral methods,as well as case study in high school classes. The innovation of this paper is to integrate Concept Map with common teaching modes, put forward the corresponding concept map teaching mode and applicable methods, and testify them in real high school teaching process. In the end , this paper proves the applicability of concept map in high school teaching, and through comparative case studies, makes the Concept Map teaching more practicable and provides meaningful insights for later research of Concept Map Theory.
