The average scores of professional self-efficiency and professional promises are higher than the total average score of all the factors, while the average scores of professional study behaviors, professional study goals, and professional external environments are lower than the total average score.(2) Professional promises, professional self-efficiency, and professional study behaviors can significantly affect professional adaptability; however, professional study goals and professional external environments are not significant influential factors.(3) The professional adaptability of college students of economics and management demonstrates significant differences in Arts and Science, types of specialty, and grades. However, the family's location, the gender, and the family's income per month do not affect a college student's professional adaptability. At last, this study proposes some strategies and suggestions to improve the professional adaptability of college students of economics and management: to enhance high school students'recognition of the specialty, to create sound environments for professional adaptability, and to strengthen training of professional adaptability according to characteristics of the specialty of economics and management.
