Based on reflection to the failure of intervention with internet addiction (IA) students and traditional problem perspective, the author of this thesis enters into the ecosystem of students who has IA in light of the strength perspective theory, and analyzes the significance of IA, redefined the term of IA. This research takes IA for a kind of unconventional way of resilience in the addiction people, who challenge adversity and meet their needs via IA. Based on cases, the author analyses the constructing process of the three elements (namely I have, I am and I can) of resilience in IA. According to the theory of strength perspective and group social work, the author proposes the framework of intervention. The whole intervention is developed from the following four steps: the contact phase (enter into the context of client), the clarify phase (deconstruct the problem of client), the apperception phase (construct the significance of client), and the action phase (reconstruct the life of client).This thesis tries to change the concept from the model of pathology and problem perspective to the strength perspective, which is used to study the IA students, making the internet as the useful medium for improving the students'activity efficiency and enriching their spiritual life. This work will help to consummate the study of IA phenomena. That is the first aim of this thesis. The second aim of this thesis is to reflect the actuality of school education, using the technical of group social work, based on the theory of strength perspective creatively to the"problem student"study, which exploit the room of using the strength perspective to the school studies in China.
