Since the 20th Century, with China's informationization has been greatly improved, network not only bring young people huge volumes of information, but al so take some of them crises and challenges, especially middle school students. Young, K.S. pointed out that the excessive use of network and internet addiction have negative impact on teenager,such as personality, physical development,mental health and social interaction.Reduce risk factors in young people's live s can prevent the youth from involving in deviant behaviours . From another perspective, when young people face ups and donwns in their lives (for examp le internet use crises), we can help them deal with internet addiction or solverelated issues by making the protective factors and risk factors clear and stren gthening the protection mechanisms of the individual.This study based on resil ience approach investigated risk factors and protective factors of Internet addic ts in China mainland middle schools, and focused specifically on their risk factor system and protective factor system and how these two systems interact toeach other.The research results revealed that risk factors and protective factorsof all Internet addicts included the following four espects:person,family,school and society. Furthermore, school social work intervention strategies are recomm ended to enchant Internet addicts' resilience and construct caring school enviro nment.
