Chinese curriculum reform is progressing rapidly. Because of the realization of curriculum reform will ultimately take effect in the classroom, therefore, the professional development of middle school Chinese teachers has gradually become the key factor to the success of Chinese curriculum reform. The theory of teachers' professional development with the practice-meaning-based orientation points out that, teachers should understand the practical nature of education, and seek to achieve the significance of education, and implement professional development of teachers in the practice of daily teaching. This theory provides a strong theoretical support and a clear direction of practice for improving the Chinese teaching in classroom, and it's helpful to make Chinese curriculum reform succeed.The purpose of education activity is to educate, including the ethical pursuing goodness, the strong intentionality of consciousness, and the nature of practice. The understanding to the practical nature of education is integrated and indivisible; therefore, every particulars of education can show the entire meaning of it. The understanding to the practical nature of education could bring us back to life and explore ways to accomplish the meaning of education. Education returning to life means emphasizing on particular person, grasping the inter-subjectivity between teachers and students, and the return to itself. Returns to life, re-inspect the nature of education, teachers' work have shown its characteristic of irreplaceable. Only teachers, who have the ethical pursuing of goodness and the strong intentionality of consciousness, can achieve the meaning of education in every class, every educational activity. Only teachers, who love their students and work, can enter into students' life and promote their further development. Irreplaceability determines nature of profession of teachers' work. Education's nature of practice determines teachers' professional development needs strict and continuous attitude of research. An attitude of research could make teachers' research and practice of daily teaching unified, provides feasible approaches for teachers' professional development.Chinese is the subject that based upon the language itself. In order to improve the capability for students' reading and writing, the significance for the education of Chinese is in light of motivating the student to express, to desire, and to be comprehensive. It is able to enhance the students' enthusiasm toward language, culture, and life in their way of learning their mother language. Additionally, by improving the comprehension and expression for the students, the significance of Chinese teaching can be embodied during the practice of language. This requires the students to release their potential initiatively and completely during the process of practice and improvement. The realistic Chinese class has to be used the unique Chinese teaching style in order to reach the significance of education. Therefore, on the way to reach the real significance of education, the Chinese teachers need to apply with the unique Chinese teaching style. They must keep on exploring, establishing the sensitivity of language. Through the own practice and understanding, Chinese teachers have to find the way to touch the students. It is necessary to let them fond in Chinese, fond in self-comprehension and self-expression, and especially, fond in life. Overall, this is the essence of the professional development for Chinese teachers.Because some Chinese teachers lack the understanding of the fundamental importance and the educational purpose of the subject, in the attempt of improving the Chinese teaching process there exist problems such as ignoring the interacting between teacher and student; the ability to present without written materials; departure from reality; and blindly pursuing the idea of innovation. Meanwhile, due to the continuous driven desire to profoundly understand the meaning and importance of Chinese education, there are many superb teachers have demonstrated their great understanding of the subject as well as the ability to handle it during the teaching process. They have in common the determination to realize the goal of Chinese education. The strict and continuous research process has already become one with their teaching careers, and has become a part of their personality. This has been demonstrated in every tiny details of the process of education.The author, being both a graduate student who has set foot in the direction of professional teaching and a middle school teacher at the same time, action research has become the most vivid and specific part of the article. During the research process the author demonstrated and developed an intense will and deep thinking.The author hopes to present the motivating function of practice-meaning tropism theory towards Chinese teacher profession through this article and this function brings positive change to Chinese classroom teaching style.
