The teaching contents are outdated, dull and uninteresting, impotent to arouse students' enthusiasm for the sports.5. The coaches intend to succeed in one leap and display quite different training levels, lacking of major proficiency and sports skills.6. The out-of-class sports activity is greatly influenced by fields, equipment, time and weather. In addition, further and track race sports in Ma'anshan middle school chiefly include factors of leaders, teachers, students, safeguards, teaching contents, administration and competition training.Finally, based on the problems above, the author puts for word some strategies of how to advance field and track racing sports in middle schools:1. Lay stress on both teaching and scientific research, improve teachers and coaches' synthetic abilities, elevate their capabilities of applying knowledge combinely and cultivate their innovation ability. Besides, strengthen teachers' further study and elevate their academic level.2. Convert teaching concept, update teaching thoughts, and apply new teaching pattern.3. Form a regular and scientific administration system, establish a relatively complete administration regulations.4. Put more emphasis on out-of-class activities, organize more competition, and complete regulations of competition and administration so as to improve teachers and students' confidence in this sport.
