It becomes more and more popular for people to study vocabulary especially the vocabulary learning strategies. Many studies have shown that it is useful for students to achieve an ideal state of vocabulary learning by using appropriate strategies in limited time. However, how to help students especially middle school students to grasp the vocabulary learning strategies is still a new area for research. The writer attempts to have an experimental research on the team cooperative English vocabulary learning strategies in two classes. The purpose of the research is to find out a new model of cooperative vocabulary learning strategies for middle school students, to help students form certain method of using vocabulary learning strategies so that students will have more interest in learning English and the situation of English learning will be improved. The results show that more students use different kinds of vocabulary strategies after the experimental research.
