This paper analyses the present situation and provides a survey of questionnaire by interviewing some Senior One students according to the Theory of Learning Motivation and Aosubeier's Theory of Achievement Motivation. The results are as follows.1. Compared with top students, disabled students tend to believe, that some negative aspects keep them from studying hard. Both top students and disabled students thought that foreign countries focus on quality-oriented education while Chine focus too much on examination-oriented education. And more disabled students thought that study is neither important nor useful enough because more and more university students cannot find jobs after graduation.2. According to the survey, 81.9% of the disabled students thought that their chemistry learning is a failure in Senior One.3. The survey also show that top students have much more learning motivation and achievement motivation than disabled students though both of them are able to improve their inner motivation.4. As to overcoming their laziness, both top students and disabled students thought the most important aspects are being independent by attending university and making their parents happy, but they have other different thoughts. Disabled students thought serving the society is important while top students thought it important to improve their self-quality of chemistry literacy.5. As to the reasons for the failure in chemistry learning, both top students and disabled students owe their failures to not working hard and finding no good ways to study, which is exactly the fact.In order to help Senior One chemistry teachers to try better ways to inspire and motivate disabled students, some suggestions based on the above analysis are put forward as follows.1. Adjust the present ways of evaluation by strengthening the objective evaluation and weakening the selective evaluation. Encourage the students to study positively by improving their inner motivation of cognition.2. Make use of cooperation to create an atmosphere of learning from each other.3. Help the students set themselves some clearly defined goals about what they should do now and in the future.
