The development of economic globalization caused the competition among corporations intensified bay by day. How to survive and develop in such a competitive environment is a problem that each corporation has to face. In the circumstances, corporate university emerged in America. American corporate universities have grown and developed for almost one century, they have already gained great success. What's more, they're advancing with time, and showing some new trends which adapt to the time. Disney University used the term "corporate university" first, it's an apotheosis of American corporate universities. It has been establishing many education projects which are closely united with its business objectives and strategies, and has been making Disney competitive continuously by the exploitation and utilization of knowledge and human resources, and creates a miracle of Disney's durability. In the meanwhile, it has undertaken the responsibility of providing educational services for internal and external in-service personnel, even for the undergraduates more and more in fact.In China, the development of economic and the opening of corporations accelerated the increasing demand for training. As a result, the emergence and development of corporate university in China became an inevitable trend. Corporate university is still an emerging thing in China. In the process of transplanting models of American corporate university, there exist many problems in corporate universities of China, involving concept and practice. So it's valuable for us to draw lessons from successful experiences . In this paper, the author selects Disney University as an apotheosis, mainly uses the following research means——searching by document and material, case study method, contrast method, interview method. The paper has certain innovational and practical significance.This paper seeks first to present an overview of the corporate university landscape in America, including the causes of the corporate university emerging firstly in America, its present status and its role in American education market, its operating model and features; second to introduce and analyze the Disney university in detail, including its Disney college program and operating way; the last to refine and conclude the successful experiences of American corporate universities and the enlightenment for us. There are four chapters in all:Chapter 1: The outline of American corporate university, mainly including the causes of corporate university's emergence in America; the American corporate university's development course, present status and functions.Chapter 2: The operating model of American corporate university, including the comparison between corporate university and traditional university and training department of corporate; the operating features of American corporate university.Chapter 3: A case study of The Disney University, including The Disney University's history and features; The Disney College Program (DCP) and so on.Chapter 4: The successful experiences of American corporate university and the enlightenment for us, including some suggestions to our own construction of corporate university.In the end , the author Concludes some successful experiencesof American corporate university——combine with corporate's strategictarget; coorperate with university; develop courses, promote the brand value by certification; senior corporate leaders'participation; experiencing type study. The following are the suggestions for building corporateuniversity system in China——the corporate should recognize whetherit's suitable to build corporate university; plan in detail; change ideology and establish effective operation mode. The author hopes that it'll be helpful for the practitioners who are devoted to the building and the development of corporate university in China.
