The mathematics teaching between the elementary schools and secondary schools are not connected which is the main reason of the extreme disparity in mathematics learning among the students. After 20 years of reform and opening-up, there are a lot of research and achievement about the Teaching Reform in Mathematics of the Elementary Schools and Secondary Schools. But there are not enough researches about the connection of math teaching between elementary schools and secondary schools." We are lack of the successful experience on the research about the connection of math teaching between elementary schools and middle schools in Shenzhen, and even in China. How to connect the math teaching between elementary schools and secondary schools and how to promote the sustainable development of the students become a realistic problem. This subject study is proceeding from the situation of the schools and the math teaching, and doing the research according to the material, teaching methods, the students' psychology , character, learning methods, mind, ability and the teachers' management of the lesson. Differs from the research of the single subject teaching, this paper takes up the research that how the primary scholars acclimatize themselves to the Year Seven math learning. This paper which will try to solve the extreme disparity in math learning among the students will be helpful to adapt the disconnection of the math learning between the elementary schools and secondary schools. And it is important to optimize the math teaching in Year Seven.The content of the subject study is divided into parts below:(一) Analyze the problem and insufficiency of the students and teachers in Year Seven when they teach and learn including the analysis of the factor of the Year Seven students polarize in the math learning and the factor of the affection of learning math.(二) According to the problem and the insufficiency of the students and teachers in Year Seven when they teach and learn, this subject study puts forward the measurement and suggestions about how to improve the math teaching connection between elementary school and middle school in my school and schools in local area.The questionare about the learning condition of the students shows that the students' learning is passive without a clear aim. They can't acclimatize themselves to the methods the teachers used. They don't pay attention to the training of mind and the improvement of ability. Those are the main factors for students in Year Seven that make them feel difficult while learning math. According to the interviews to the students and the teachers in Year Seven, the factors of the polarization of the students in Year Seven while learning math include the study material, the teaching method, learning method, physiology and psychology, ideation, teaching management, the different helps of the parents. Aim at the problems of the connection between elementary schools and secondary schools, the author puts forward that we should obey six rules and prepare for the transition of ten aspects. The connection and the transition refer to the interests of the students, the study material, the learning ability, the learning method, the teaching method, the habit of learning, and the evaluation of the lesson. The connection should be done smoothly and the elementary school students should prepare for entering the secondary schools. The process of the lesson and the teaching management should be optimized and teachers should give students more guidance on learning strategy. The math teaching connection between the elementary schools and the secondary schools requires the math teachers to be more qualified and to have more advanced educative notion. Not only should the teachers recreate the teaching material, but also should they master the cognition rules of the students. So the key to achieve the connection between the elementary schools and the secondary schools is that the teachers should master the basic modern methodology, psychology, teaching theory and etc. and they should put those into practice creatively and self- consciously.
