Primary Bilingual Teaching

With the fast progress of the world economy merging into an organic whole,with the joining in the WTO,with the successful apply for holding the Olympic Games,with the more and more frequent international cooperation,The bilingual person who not only masters Chinese and Chinese culture but also grasps a foreign language and a foreign culture is urgently needed when China takes part in the international competition.So how to cultivate such talented persons in an effective and in a high quality way will be a tendency and the corresponding result in how to be adapted by the society in English teaching.As a break through, the bilingual language teaching is getting more and more concern,and many areas are beginning or are to start to use the bilingual language teaching method.Now in this passage I will take Hongmei Primary School of Da]ian in which some subjects are taught biligually as an example to demonstrate that it is practicable and effective to give lessons in some subjects bilingually in primary school. Besides,I also give some tips on how to put the idea into practice in order to probe a better way to promote the application of bilingual teaching method.In this passage I also aim to explore an effective way which accords with our country and can also contribute to the promotion of all the subjects.
