CaiRui (2001), puts forward the concept of athletic performance, indicating that an athlete's athletic ability in competitions, or the athletic level, is the display and performance of his athletic ability acquired in his trainings. The research in Theoretical Study of Athletic Space Structure by LiangJianPing and DongDeLong (2006) shows that there exists a certain disparity between an athlete's performances (namely athletic fragment) and athletic abilities at the moment when he participates in various big games. In other words, the gap between the athletic performance and athletic ability means that there exits a "room for development" where athletes can perform well or bad. Based on the previous studies, they learn from the angle of space study and name the phenomenon the "competitive behavior space". And then they illustrate athlete's competitive ability, athletic performance and athletic behavior through the space form, which form the 3G theoretical model of athletic ability space structure, i.e. athletic ability space, athletic performance space and athletic behavior space. This research is a further study of the 3G theory and a further analysis of the theory of athletic performance space.Based on interviews on athletes, the author designs a positive measuring model for the athletic performance space and a negative measuring model for the athletic performance space. The negative model covers three dimensionalities, such as physical conditions and injuries and diseases, psychological conditions and competition environment. The positive model consists of six dimensionalities, such as the sense of self achievement, cognition, psychological conditions, physical conditions, social relations and competition environment.This study based on the questionnaire, the psychological factors has the biggest proportion in both negative space and positive space in the research of men and women high level athletes. This result shows that athletic mentality is to be tested more in high level athletic competitions. Meanwhile, the research shows that in different level of athletes, psychological factors on athletic performance negative space is the largest proportion. For the dimensionalities of competition environment, physical conditions and injuries and diseases, the CLASS 1 athletes are more susceptible to perform wrongly. In athletics performance negative space, physical conditions and injuries and diseases have greater influence on rapid strength athletes, so does in mental dimension. In athletics performance positive space, the sense of self achievement has more influence rapid strength athletes competitions. And cognitive level dimensions effect > > grid compete for rapid strength.There are also some limitations of this study. Firstly, although the model has good reliability and effectiveness, the applicability of research results are limited because of the limitation of sampling range. The author is expecting improvements in further study. Secondly, not the structure models of athletes of all sport events are tested. Thirdly, afterwards attribution has certain limitation, because the research is not carried out at real-time circumstances before and after the improvements of game results. Subsequent research may be implemented in real circumstances and conclusion of this study may be tested. We assume that the research on actual competition segment may differ from theoretical study.
