This paper includes five chapters based on management problems of primary and secondary education in Beijing from 1949 to 1956.The first chapter introduces the administration of primary and secondary education in Beijing from 1949 to 1956. This chapter successively introduces education administrative management organization, school arrangement and inner management system of primary and secondary school in Beijing.The second chapter discusses the person management, including the management of education personnel and the management of educational objects namely middle and primary school students.The former mainly involves the problems of resource, improvement, training, salary and treatment of education personnel. The latter mainly involves the systems of three parts including enrollment, examination, promotion or repeating and graduation.The third chapter discusses the affair management, including the management of education activities and teaching activities. The former mainly involves problems such as school system reform, course setting, teaching material use, teaching method and teaching quality. And the latter mainly involves moral education, labor education and students group.The fourth chapter discusses the property management, including resource and expenditure of education funds and problems of teaching equipment and school building.The fifth chapter generally evaluates the educational management of primary and secondary school in Beijing, and the evaluation can give some enlightenment to contemporary education reform through reflection.
