In the past 30 years,the higher vocational education facilities have delivered thousands of qualified professionals to various lines of work.They have acted as a stimulant to the development of the applied technology in China.Therefore,higher vocational education facilities have made themselves indispensable in the Chinese higher education systems.However,due to the ambiguity in the definition of the higher vocational education and the lack of guidance in the career planning,young teachers feel discouraged,gradually lose their motivation and creativity,and eventually leave the vocational education facilities.Young teachers are the backbones of the universities.Their scholastic level and their devotion to the career are the bases for the survival and development of the universities,as well as the growth of the students.Therefore,the professional development of the young teachers is the major focus of the human resources management in the universities.As a major part of human resources management,it is necessary to introduce career management into the daily university management systems.By doing so,the university will be able to gather the teachers' basic information and understand their professional interest and characteristics,professional development wishes as well as their career goals.This way,the university will be able to merge the teachers' career planning into its development plan,and thus enforce the sense of affiliation,responsibility and motivation in the teachers.The career planning management system will assist teachers to see clearer their professional interests,potentials and advantages and get to know the university's anticipation in them.It will also help them to find more accurate career goal earlier.Therefore,teachers will be able to assess their ability and see the distance to the goal.This will not only heighten their sense of urgency and competitiveness,increase their professional attainment,but also make them see the attention the universities give them.They will feel more satisfied in their teaching career,be more loyal to their employers,and more devoted to the teaching career,thus decrease the cost in human resources management.In short,the career management in the young teachers contributes greatly to the human resources management in the higher vocational education facilities in that it will improve the career development level and make young teachers mature faster.By introducing the research results in the past career management system,this essay aims to discuss the design and focus in the career management system in the higher vocational education facilities,in the hope of resolving the issues arising from the teachers'individual career development and the university's strategic development goal,enhancing the teachers' motivation and facilitating the sustainable development in the higher vocational education.This essay will disclose the current issues among the young teachers such as their basic information,career satisfaction level,and career management effectiveness,on the basis of surveys among the teachers.This essay will also discuss various ways in career management so that the universities can support career planning better,satisfy individual teacher's career development demand,realize each teacher's potentials and retain more and better young professional teachers.The study found that young teachers' career management in higher vocational colleges will is very strong,and the bottleneck of higher vocational college young teachers' career management is lacking of communication platform and inadequate human resource management system and so on.We should build schools and teachers both information interactive platform by combining with their human resources management system,based on the platform of digital campus,to improve human resources management system,and set up the management system of human resources,it will effectively promote the professional development of young teachers in higher vocational colleges.
