The American Austrian biologist Bertalanffy, who is the leading founder of System Theory, published General System Theory in 1947. He put forward the theory of organism in biology, in which he emphasized that we should investigate the organism as a whole system. Then, what is a system? A system is a whole of component elements which are in certain connection and relate to the environment. Every object in the universe is to exist and to develop in the form of system that is ubiquity.A subject is a system; a lesson is a system; quizzing in class is also a system although it is a smaller one that is a part of a lesson. So we should pay attention to the systematicness of quizzing itself when we plan the questions i.e. order, gradualness, entireness and levelness.While in practice, there exist such problems for many teachers in asking questions: there is no clear aims; questions are too easy to arouse the students'thinking; the aims couldn't be achieved; because of planning segmentally, series couldn't be achieved. The teaching model of'question series'—forming the questions as a whole system to function may help to achieve reasonable teaching effects by avoiding blindness and haphazardry effectively in class quizzing.Adopting the way of opposite experiment, we practice the'teaching model'of question series in trial class to contrast to the normal one so that we can probe into the forming rules of'question series'that are matching with those in biology.The experiment showed that the application of teaching model of'question series'may help to deepen the students'thinking quality notably especially to the students who are good at analyzing and especially in the course of biology. It may also help to inhibit the declining of self-efficacy in biology studying, while the effect is not that obvious.
