| Biological model construction teaching makes the biological knowledge morevisible. Students can experience a sense of sight and touch. It combines biologicalexperiment with other teaching practice activity. Moreover, it can improve theefficiency of high school biological teaching. The paper aims to finding out thecondition of using biological model construction teaching in some high school inLanzhou. It also aims at analyzing the reason of efficiency which factors may havesome effect on this method carrying out. We elaborate the advantage of usingbiological model construction teaching by showing some actual figures. It can helphigh school biological teacher to make full use of modeling teaching and helpstudents nurture modeling ability and ability of science thinking. Meanwhile, it canhelp teacher have a right attitude to the modeling teaching. It also helps come toachieve the three-dimensional target.The paper bases on biological model construction teaching in high schoolbiological teaching and finds a large amount of related paper. It adopts some basicmethod such as questionnaire, interview and classroom observation in the process ofstudy. Moreover, we investigate some high school students and biological teachers inLanzhou city Gansu province. There are different gradient high school like provincialmodel high school, ordinary elementary school and country school. We investigate720students of questionnaire. At the same time, it also investigates40biologicalteachers. After obtaining the first hand material about the condition of nowadaysmodeling teaching, some potential problems are systematically analyzed thus puttingforward to some suggestions and solutions for applying to model constructionteaching of biology.We find that it exist some question in different degradable high school bystudying the current situation of carrying out the biological modeling teaching. Itreflects many aspects. Firstly, the school doesn’t pay much attention to using themethod of biological modeling teaching. Secondly, the school lack in relatedhardware and software of biological modeling teaching equipment. Thirdly, teachersare not familiar with biological model construction teaching. Fourth, teacher bythemselves are not qualified for using biological modeling teaching method. Fifth, teachers are not able to scientifically and reasonable set the way of biologicalmodeling teaching.We provide some suggestions in two levels based on analyzing the existentialquestion. Firstly, the school should support the method of biological modelingteaching in the process of carrying out new curriculum. Secondly, the school shouldhelp teacher deal with some difficulties during the process of teaching. Thirdly, theschool should improve related hardware condition and software condition modelingteaching. Fourth, some suggestion should give to all kinds of schools. Fifth, teachersshould improve their ability to using the method of biological modeling teaching.Sixth, teachers should guide students to construct the net of knowledge and make fulluse of abstract knowledge in class. Fifth, teachers should help student using modelingto solve question in the process of doing exercises. |
