With the development of the information era,our country's education informationization advancement develops thoroughly unceasingly.In The elementary education of our country,The rural schools hold the great proportion,which covers a broad region,and factors such as the uneven distribution of rural schools and their different circumstances,the fact that the rural education foundation whole is quite weak.Therefore,it is very difficult to develop education informationization in rural area,and the rural education informationization development question already became bottleneck of our country to restricts to realize the whole education informationization.The target of Education Informization is to promote Quality Education,cultivate innovative talents and realize education modernization.One of the key steps to this goal is to improve the Information Literacy of rural teachers.Based on the above background,On the basis of reading literature of Information Literacy,it has systematically analyzed the basic accomplishment of information and teacher information, and based on this,the author carded content structure and level devlepment of Information Literacy,and to make the theory upholstery for the following research.Then using teacher interview,questionnaire survey,data statistical analysis methods,Through the investigation to the informational literacy of the teachers in rural schools of Liaocheng,Heze and Dezhou in the western of Shandong Province,and analyzes informational literacy of the teachers result from the information consciousness,information knowledge,information ability and Information morals.The result shows that the rural teacher' information level is quite low in the information consciousness,information knowledge,information ability and information morals aspect,and explore the each kind of factors which restrict the improvement of the information literacy of these teachers.Finally,according to the present situation of information literacy,and suggests the development policies adapting to the actuality,we hope educatoin of information literacy will be put great importance by relevant educational institutions and teachers to improve the level of information literacy of these teachers in western of Shandong Province.This research take three city rural elementary and middle school teachers as object of study in western of Shandong Province,In view of the fact that the domestic rural middle and elementary schools condition has the very big similarity.Therefore,this research can be cited as a case of how to improve information literacy for rural elementary and middle school teachers in western of Shandong Province,and with rich reference value for teachers,teacher training workers and school managers in national general rural and poor areas.
