Teacher information literacy is one of the important contents of teachers’ professional qualities and plays an important role in teachers’ professional growth.It is of great significance to explore the status quo of information literacy among rural primary and middle school teachers in Yan’an City and improve countermeasures,and to promote the professional growth of primary and middle school teachers in rural areas,and to promote the educational quality of rural primary and secondary schools.This study selected six primary and secondary schools in townships and townships in Yan’an,Shaanxi Province as research objects.The survey was conducted through questionnaires,data queries,and field interviews.Qualitative and quantitative research methods were combined to explicitly present the rural areas of Yan’an City.The Present Situation,Causes and Countermeasures of Elementary School Teachers’ Information Literacy.The study found that under the information technology background,the basic status quo of teachers’ information literacy development in rural primary and secondary schools in Yan’an is: Teachers have a certain degree of information awareness,but the overall information literacy is not high and unbalanced;teachers have knowledge of improving their information literacy,However,the enthusiasm and attitude to improve their information literacy are not enough;the training opportunities for teachers in information literacy are increasing,but there are serious deficiencies and imbalances;school administrators have insufficient understanding of the importance of teachers’ information literacy and do not play well.The leading role of the school is that the construction of the school’s hardware environment is lagging behind and restricts the improvement of teachers’ information literacy.The phenomenon that training at all levels is generally out of touch with rural teaching is difficult to play.According to the analysis of the current situation,the author believes that the main problems are: insufficient understanding of the importance of teachers’ information literacy promotion among rural primary and secondary school teachers;insufficient attention paid to the promotion of teachers’ information literacy by school administrators;and education teachers in rural schools The promotion of information literacy is not enough attention.Based on the analysis of the status quo and the causes,the author proposes that the basic countermeasures to improve the existing problems in the rural elementary and middle school teachers’ information literacy improvement in Yan’an are to cultivate and change concepts,raise awareness,and gradually establish information awareness;improve the teacher training mechanism and promote rural areas.The improvement of primary school teachers’ information literacy;improving the hardware environment of education and teaching,creating a good atmosphere for teachers’ information-based teaching;and improving the evaluation mechanism to restrain,lead and motivate teachers to improve information literacy. |
