Due to lifelikeness,vivacity,novelty,big capacity,much information and high effciency, multimedia assisted instruction is more popular in middle school teachers than other teaching means.However,every coin has two sides.While appling the multimedia assisted instruction,some problems accur for improper use,and affect directly information validity during English teaching.Six parts are included in this paper as follows:Firstly,the research background on the project is described,and current situation and research significance are analysed and discussed respectively.Secondly,the correlative research contents for the subject are summarized by the author, and multimedia technology,connotations and common mode(namely characteristic on the multimedia assisted instruction) of the multimedia assisted instruction are introduced.Thirdly,aiming at problems accuring in multimedia assisted instruction,the author presents the research strategy on how to use reasonably multimedia to optimize the English teaching.Fourthly,during experimental design and implementation phase,the learning interest, independence and innovative thinking for the students from experimental class and comparative class are investigated and compared mutually.and teaching effect is also evaluated and statistically tested according to the unified testing methods.The correlatively original data is obtained from the above mentioned experiment.Fifthly,it is found from correlative analysis from different experimental data that multimedia assisted instruction is helpful for students to master learning emphasis,break through learning difficulties,enhance learning efficiency and enrich their knowledge.Finally,experimental results are presented.And experience as well as lessons(precautions) are shared with the teaching peers.
