This dissertation studies the Dong-Han bilingual language teaching through field investigation, document analysis and many_other kinds of methods by comprehensively and systematically describing and analyzing the Dong-Han bilingual language teaching's history, present situation and existing problems. Based on the description and the analysis, it proposed some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.First, in the textual part, this dissertation briefly introduces the Dong ethnic minority's population, language and cultural backgrounds and discloses the humanities background of implementing the Dong-Han bilingual language teaching, it introduces the process of making: "Dong Language Plan", then it gives an account of the history and the realities of the Dong-Han bilingual language teaching and analyzes the current situation of Dong-Han bilingual language teaching through applying both emic approach and etic approach to explore the necessity and possibility of the Dong -Han bilingual teaching based on studying the genuine attitudes from all of the Dong social strata toward Dong language and characters. In a word, this is the focal point of this part.Secondly, on the basis of discerning the existing problems in Dong-Han bilingual language teaching, the author puts forth the relevant feasible countermeasures and suggestions. Besides, this dissertation analyzes the necessities and possibilities from the theoretical perspective of multi-cultural education. Dong-Han bilingual language teaching, in one way, can have the Dong students inherit their own culture, and in another way, help them better study modern knowledge. It is an essential channel to practice multicultural education integration. At last, this dissertation maintains the reappearance and the development of Dong language teaching is not only a form of practicing Dong-Han bilingual language teaching, more importantly, it's a way of manifestingDong-Han double cultural education. Furthermore, Dong-Han bilingual language teaching should be transitioned to Dong-Han double culture education gradually.
