China is a unified multi-ethnic country,and other ethnic minorities besides the han nationality use a variety of languages and languages.Is the national minorities in yunnan province in most species,in addition to the han nationality,the population of more than 5000 people live there are 25 ethnic minority,among them,the water back,manchu,three national standard Chinese,the other 22 use 26 kinds of minority languages,14 national use 22 languages or pinyin.Yunnan minority areas there was a general situation of ethnic languages and Chinese coexist with and the needs of the development of ethnic minorities,in national accounts for the vast majority of kindergartens and elementary schools,should practice the language and ethnic han Chinese bilingual teaching measures.In September 2011,the education department of yunnan province will set up a pilot school for bilingual education in yunnan province with 32 primary schools in 18 languages of 14 nationalities in 27 counties and cities in 13 cities.The pilot school has been set up for six years,but there is no research on the implementation of bilingual teaching in the 32 pilot schools.Of the people's government of yunnan province to accelerate the development of the national education implementation opinion "proposed" by 2020,the national common language education foundation weak area compulsory education universal bilingual education "development goals.Through the investigation of the pilot implementation of bilingual teaching in 32 schools,this paper analyzes the achievements and existing problems in the six years,provides references for relevant decision-making and provides reference for relevant researches.This study first analyzes the and yunnan and the research status of bilingual teaching in our country,on the basis of the selected 32 bilingual education pilot schools in yunnan as the research object,to 33 principal(vice President),186 bilingual teachers,107 students conducted a questionnaire survey,to 15 principals and13 city national education mtcsol cadres by telephone interviews,combined with classroom observation and the analysis of the results of the survey,it is concluded that the main conclusions of this study are:Yunnan in policy implementation,funds to carry out the bilingual teaching,the teaching material compile,faculty construction in such aspects as students' recognition,implementation effect and achieved good results,in the school accumulated a lot of experience,state,provincial level,at the same timethere also exist some insufficient recognition of leadership,the overall lack of funding,lack of teachers,national characters aid less area,a single classroom teaching method,and the problem of lack of experience exchange between schools.Based on the above analysis,the paper puts forward Suggestions on the improvement of bilingual teaching in yunnan: one is to improve the education departments at all levels and bilingual teaching school leaders about the importance of bilingual teaching,to strengthen the supervision and guidance of bilingual teaching;Second,we will increase funding for bilingual education.Third,strengthen the construction of bilingual teachers;Fourth,strengthen bilingual teaching materials construction;Fifth,adopt flexible and diversified classroom teaching methods;Sixth,strengthen exchanges between regions and schools.
