Into the 21st century, with the rapid development and change of information technology artifice, represented by modern communications technology, computer multimedia technology and network technology, the modern distance education gives rise to a change in education and technology as a new attitude in the world, playing an increasingly important role in making learning needs of learners and building life-long education society. So the modern distance education model becomes gradually an ideal artifice to meet the needs of actual teaching. Distance education system is divided into two major subsystems, curriculum resources and learning support services. Thus, learning support services is an important part of the process of modern distance education teaching. Practice has proved that learning support service system has a positive role in protecting the learning quality, conditions and other hands of learners.This study is that takes all teachers of the suburban countries in Shanghai, mostly focused on the basis of the literature review of distance education and learning support services, in order to know about the applied cases of the distance teaching system of teacher professional development in rural areas of Shanghai and the effect that learning support services makes in the process under the context of education development and new curriculum reformation. Whereas in the process of distance training of rural teachers, there are a lot of problems and shortages in learning support services system, which directly impact on effectiveness of distance training and the quality of learning.This total is divided into five chapters:The first chapter of article is the introduction section. The main outline of this chapter is the meaning, the purpose and the problem of the research, making the necessary preparations for the next step of the study, combined with the actual situation.The second chapter is part of the theory and literature review. Firstly this part is to define the relevant concepts and use the theories to support the research. In addition, it is made a simple comb for distance education and learning support services system to understand the current research progress and the status, in order to make adequate preparations for the follow-up study.The third chapter briefly describes the applied cases of the distance teaching system of teacher professional development in rural areas of Shanghai, to understand the background the project carries out in, the operation and management cases of the rural teacher distance training system platform, operational effectiveness and some problems in the training process.The fourth chapter is that analyses current situation through questionnaires and interviews and distinguishes from it to the support service of the traditional training, then summaries the problems and shortcoming in the process of using the distance training system of the new rural areas in Shanghai.In the fifth chapter, we need to make further efforts to correspond the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the using cases of the distance training system of the new rural areas in Shanghai. In the teacher professional development of the new rural areas in Shanghai, all elements that participate in the training should actively cooperate with the application of distance training system to operate in an orderly manner. And it summarizes the merits of the operations and support services of the distance teacher training platform for the new rural areas in Shanghai, in order to facilitate the promotion of the learning support system for distance learning and training preferably, and sums up the shortcomings of this study.
