The purpose of establishing good mathematics situation teaching for teen age student is to arouse the student's enthusiasm and initiative for studying mathematics. The current popular rhetoric situation construction does not result in effective improvement of teaching, but it leads the students to give up reasonable thinking or make the teacher misunderstand the real situation teaching. Therefore, we need to advocate effective situation teaching, to stimulate the student learning motivation and develop the student love feeling for mathematics and improve the student study performance.First of all, this thesis explored theory of mathematics situation teaching according to the constructivism, situation learning,learning theory and fundamentals of interaction between situation and emotion and also the previous study results of other researchers. Then, after making a review of cases in the literature, the author pointed out the errors in the situation teaching and concluded 4 characteristics, 6 fundamentals and 15 strategies of the effective mathematics situation teaching.Chapter 1 is a introduction, which raise the study questions and specify the objective need and implication of constructing effective teaching situation.Chapter 2 explored the origin and 4 theory bases of situation teaching. By reviewing the related materials both in Chinese and English, the author made suggestions for better constructing effective teaching situation and improving the harmonious development of student cognition and emotion.Chapter 3 investigated the value of constructing effective situation and pointed out several errors in situation teaching and stressed mistaken tendency of de-mathematics.Chapter 4 specified how to distinguish 4 characteristics of effective situations including purpose, consistence, access and interaction of situation. This chapter summarized the 6 principals of constructing effective situation including the principal of science, enlightenment, exploration, development and interest.Chapter 4 investigated 15 strategies of constructing effective mathematics situations:1) To create recreation situation which made the students interest in learning mathematics;2) To construct a situation which increase the student interest in the study;3) To construct the process situation which leads students to participate in exploring mathematics theorem;4) To construct real situation which enhance the student ability to solve mathematics problem in the real world;5) To construct situation with historical mathematics material to help the student better understand and enjoy mathematics;6) To construct comparative situation to increate the student ability in making comparison and induction;7) To construct open question situation to develop student ability in deductive thinking;8) To construct a situation which corrected the errors to develop student ability in criticism;9) To create a situation which follows up the rule of step by step;10) To construct a situation using figure and table to develop the student ability of recognizing and analyzing the data; 11) To use mathematics situation created by figure format for the rule of migration; 12) To construct story situation to stimulate student study interest;13) To use the multi-media teaching means to construct dynamic state for promoting student learning process and development;14) To construct the situation combining number and shape and make difficulty problem easier;15) To construct a guess situation to encourage the student to make bravely assumption and exploration in the study. Chapter 5 specified the teaching experiment on effectiveness of situation teaching for the student from junior high school. The experiment showed that the right constructing effective mathematics situation help enhance the student interest in the study, relax anxiety on mathematics study and develop the student positive feeling for mathematics. The students performance in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group.In chapter 6, the author demonstrated the lessons learned from constructing effective situation teaching and thinking on the effective situation teaching .The study concluded that constructing good mathematics situation can effectively arouse student favorable emotion toward mathematics, stimulate student interest and enthusiasm in mathematics leaning and improve the way of student thinking and student performance in mathematics study.
