The research of the features and regulations between ordinary and excellent teachers can make great contributions to improving the quality of the teachers countrywide.The paper makes surveys about the associated factors of teaching style of P.E. teachers in primary and secondary school, taking the examples as 165 teachers in 10 districts of Shanghai, by delivering TSTI with methods of questionnaire and symbolic statistic. By analyzing the data, the result says: The male P.E. teachers are inclined to the teaching style of Conservative while the female teachers to Liberal. The P.E. teachers with the diploma of junior college are more inclined to the teaching style of Legislative, Judicial and Executive than those with bachelor. The P.E. teachers are more inclined to the style of Legislative, Liberal and Conservative with the high titles of post. The P.E. teachers are more inclined to the style of Conservative with long teaching age while those short to the Judicial. The teachers major in football are inclined to Judicial while those major in gymnastics to Legislative. The P.E. teachers in ordinary schools and schools run by the local people are more inclined to the style of Executive and Judicial. The teachers in primary and secondary schools are more inclined to Executive, Judicial and Global.Conclusions can be made by the research as following: The excellent teachers are more inclined to the style of Local and Conservative than ordinary ones.Some factors like gender, diploma, the title of post, teaching age, major in sports and type of the school that affect the style of P.E. teachers of primary and secondary school in Shanghai. the general feature of teaching style of the teachers in primary and secondary school in Shanghai is quite inclined to Legislative, Liberal and Local, instead of Judicial, Conservative, Global and Executive.
