Doing research and analyzing the philosophy and goals of women's college has its own theoretical value and realistic significance since it is a specifically high education institution for women. Down through the developing history of women's college of China, it can be easily found out that a characterized high educational model has been proceed based on the special historic, cultural and value background, which enriched the research field of high education and provided lots of experience for women's education. However, what affects women's education seriously in nowadays is the trend of seeking to fit the market by enforcing the feminine characters, and this puts women's college into troubles and hinders their development. The most important reason for such kind of situation is what the women's colleges do when they are trying to establish the philosophy and goals is just to copy and rely on the model of west countries, lacking of a systemic analyzing of Chinese educational history. This, therefore, will cause mistakes because of the difference between China and other west countries in many aspects like cultural tradition, political and economic situation as well as social environment. Hence, this thesis will force on the philosophy and goals of women's college and their models, and providing some possible and feasible suggestion for women's high education in China.
