Aoyama Gakuin traces its origin back to three schools founded by missionaries of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States at the beginning of the Meiji Era, the Girls'Elementary School founded by Dora E. Schoonmaker, Kokyo Gakusha Boys'School founded by Julius Soper, and the Methodist Mission Seminary founded by Robert S. Maclay. Aoyama Gakuin college was found by these three schools were renamed and relocated several times.The idea of running a school is cultivate the new female who is born for love and contribution,and must have the consciousness of making contribution to change the society,meanwhile it also a Higer education of enhancing student's cosmopolitan vision by imparting ptactical knowdedge and skills. Afteer the 1990s,the number of Japanese junior school continued to decline influenced by the low birth rate and economic crisis,many women's junior school has choose to implement co-ed school system or change to undergraduate school due to the lare reduction in the number of students.Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College, which is the strong performer among women's colleges, achieved everlasting fame under the conditions of abiding by its school-running tradition and characteristics.The source of students of Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College maintained steady growth, thus it has always come out top among Japan universities and colleges. Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior Collegee has cultivated a large batch of outstanding female talents for Japan, which is the successful school-running paragon of Japan women's Junior colleges.This paper shall focus on summarizing its school-running characteristics and understanding its way of successful school-running, so as to provide some inspirations and suggestions for Chinese women's colleges which hit a bottleneck to create the own characteristics in school-running practice.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter Introduction includs the reasons of selected topic, literature review, the core concepts, research design. Using the research methods such as:interview, case study, literature research, collecting, sorting and analyzing data; The second chapter shall trace the historical development of Aoyama Gakuin women's junior college;The third chapter the author analyzing its running feature, summarizes their experience in detail. It contains:lively and positive school culture ambience; perfect curriculum system; A variety of office entrance exams; Rich teachers; Guarantee of guidance system; Organization system.The fouth chapter analysis the reasons of Aoyama Gakuin women's junior college's school-running characteristics and the condcut a conclusion:The influence of Japanese religious culture and the donation of international friends;The inheritance and innovation of ideas of "Good Wife and Virtuous Mother";A wide range of strong alumni network. The fivth chapter mainly analyses present situation and existing problems of women's higher vocational education in our country. The author chooses FuJian HwaNan women's college as interviews in depth survey. Interviewing the principal, middle managers, teachers and graduates, visit the practice base and listen various opinions from experts. Finding some problems of women's higher vocational education such as:Women's higher vocational education has a weak position in our vocational education system:The government should vigorously support the development of Private Higher Vocational Colleges; The way of enrollment is narrowly, the number of students is unstably; Some schools have misunderstanding of "female characteristics", part of the majors didn't meet the requirements of market; Higher vocational doesn't link up the system of undergraduate and graduate effectively. Therefore, the author proposed the measures for improving them.
