Comprehensive high school is a kind of education mode, which formed from the learning and infiltration between ordinary high school education and vocational education. It's a new personal development model in which students can choose the ordinary high school and vocational colleges to accept the further education or find a job directly, according to their grades, capacity and hobbies, after completing the basic high education. In Western developed countries, comprehensive high school has already had the perfect school system, teaching mode and management system. In recent years, some regions of China also started to establish comprehensive high school, and have also made big development through constantly improvingThrough analyzing the background, developing history and school characteristics of foreign comprehensive high school, it is aimed to find out the proper comprehensive high school's features in this study that suited to China's actual situation. During doing this study, it also combine with the comparing between the current domestic comprehensive high school's development and the foreign country's, in order to find the right running way of comprehensive high school in China. Through analyzing the comprehensive high schools'development at present stage, demonstrating the feasibility of establishing domestic comprehensive high school and introducing some comprehensive high schools'status, so that this research has strong practical application values. According to the domestic high schools'development needs, it also propose the school running polices that the comprehensive high school should follow. Through relevant study, this article found the domestic comprehensive high schools are still facing some outstanding problems in their developing way:school's poor conditions, the difficulties of students'enrollment and graduate destination, the unclear running orientation and biased thinking and understanding of school leaders, unsound management system, imperfect school measures, the imbalance faculty, unreasonable curriculum, regional development imbalances and the serious differences in teaching quality still exist. After studying the foreign advanced countries'comprehensive high schools and some of the domestic successful comprehensive high school, the penman think organizing domestic comprehensive high school has profound and practical significance. It is suited to our national conditions and today's actual development needs. Until now, comprehensive high school education has become a major type of high school stage education in many countries. But in China, it is still in its early stage of development, small and not widespread. There still have a lot of work to do to promote the development of comprehensive high school popularity. In this article, the penman attempt to propose the corresponding strategies on the aspects need to be strengthen in the developing of comprehensive high schools.
