With the gradual advancement of the new round of curriculum reform and the promulgation of a series of documents such as new curriculum standards and college entrance examination evaluation system,the core literacy of geography has gradually become clear and has become the core training goal of geography teaching in senior high schools.It takes the concept of man-land coordination as its core point,and its main contents include geographical practice ability,regional cognition ability and comprehensive thinking ability.Geography has the characteristics of comprehensiveness and regionality,according to which the core quality of geography is put forward.Its important comprehensive thinking is an important part of the core quality of geography,which is also consistent with the comprehensive thought of geography.PBL(Problem-Based Learning)is a new problem-oriented teaching mode proposed by Howard Barrows,an American professor.PBL-based teaching mode can be used as a new teaching method to cultivate students' thinking and ability.The integration of PBL teaching mode and geography comprehensive thinking is a new attempt.Combining them organically and applying them to geography teaching may spark a bright spark,which is also of great significance to the cultivation of geography comprehensive thinking ability.This paper first analyzes the PBL teaching mode and its applicability,and then analyzes the characteristics and connotation of integrated thinking with geography.Then,it tries to analyze the advantages of PBL teaching mode in cultivating students' integrated thinking ability in geography in senior high schools,and investigates the relevant situation of local teachers using PBL teaching to cultivate students' integrated thinking in geography,analyzes the results and finds out the problems.Finally,it selects the teaching contents in the current senior high school geography textbooks for case design,and puts forward the corresponding training principles,steps and strategies.This study taking the new round of teaching reform as an opportunity,combined with the actual teaching situation,after consulting a large number of documents and materials,the combination of PBL mode and geographical comprehensive thinking is determined as the research direction of this paper.Explain the research significance of PBL teaching and geography comprehensive thinking,sort out the relevant research achievements at home and abroad,deeply study its innovations,and make certain exposition and analysis on relevant research methods and technical routes.Firstly,define the related concepts of PBL teaching mode and geography comprehensive thinking,summarize their characteristics,explore their teaching value,and summarize cognitive learning theory,constructivist learning theory,deep learning theory and other theories,so as to provide theoretical basis for introducing PBL teaching mode into senior high school geography teaching and cultivating comprehensive thinking ability.Combined with the results of the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the application significance and value of cultivating comprehensive thinking ability of geography in senior high school under PBL teaching mode,and provides a clear direction for the follow-up research.Using the on-site paper questionnaire and the online electronic questionnaire,the questionnaire survey was conducted on the students in school in anonymous form.Through the analysis of the students' questionnaire,the students' comprehensive thinking ability in geography and their recognition of the teaching mode were learned in detail.Through teachers' questionnaire,we can understand the application status of PBL teaching mode in practical teaching and the cognition of geographical comprehensive thinking,which provides a realistic basis and basis for this study.Finally,on the basis of analyzing the results of the questionnaire,this paper expounds the significance of applying PBL teaching mode to the cultivation of comprehensive thinking ability of geography in senior high schools,and analyzes its application value.According to the case implementation and evaluation results,the principles and steps of PBL teaching mode in cultivating comprehensive thinking ability of geography in senior high school are briefly described,including the principles of teaching content selection,problem design,teaching process and teaching evaluation.This paper puts forward some teaching strategies for the cultivation of geographical comprehensive thinking,mainly from the perspectives of three elements: element synthesis,regional synthesis and space-time synthesis.The purpose is to provide a general reference model for future teaching and form a general solution to different real problems in different situations.Select the cases in the new geography textbook of senior high school in 2017,design and carry out teaching cases of integrated elements,regional integration and space-time integration from the perspective of three elements,and conduct case study on PBL teaching mode introducing the cultivation of integrated thinking ability of senior high school geography,and evaluate it by classroom observation and conversation.Conclusion and reflection.This paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of cultivating comprehensive thinking of geography in senior high school under PBL teaching mode,and provides the direction for further research and development,with a view to providing reference for the majority of senior high school geography teachers.
