Students Love The Quality Of The Story

From the point of happiness, love is an important life event. However, research in love has not got the attention of psychologists. From 1970s, foreign research on the psychology of love has gradually unfolded, both in theory and practice have achieved some results. But in China, the psychology of love still remains in the stage of theoretical description, localized research is less.Sternberg presented love story theory in 1996, the theory that love is a story of our own, through the interaction of personality and environment, we produce a story about love, and then we will achieve it in life as much as possible. We tend to love people who hold the same or similar love story as us, rather than people that hold the different love story, and partners involved in intimate relationships tend to share similar profiles of love stories, the more similar the stories of two people, the more likely they are to be satisfied with their relationship. But the love theory based on the United States is not necessarily suited to the Chinese partners. This study adopts the method of semi-structured interviews, selected 52 college students who experienced love. Through qualitative analysis, analyze real and the ideal love of college students, only on this basis, to further the study on Chinese love story and to establish theory.Through analysis the interview text, the results showed that:(1) There are four categories of students love cause:environmental factors, personal motivation, other characteristics, common interests. (2)The pain and conflict in love mainly include the gap between the ideal, bad interactive and the current conditions. (3) Expectations of the ideal lover include attractive in appearance, similarity, quality requirements, material conditions. Attractive in appearance, quality requirements tend to different expectations between men and women. (4) The image that College students expect to give their lovers has several features. (5) The characteristics which students look forward to ideal love include understanding and tolerance, equality, harmony, space and distance, flat in a romantic, sincere pay.
